i LOVE good simple design

found this at the drugstore.  clean and effective. i'm jealous. 

oh, and yes, it's imported from the UK.  just as i suspected.

i HATE tacky 'design'

this a cheapo brand that's trying to look expensive by having different bottle shapes [and labels] for each product in the 'line' and thus ending with an inconsistent mess! maybe if they hired a real packaging designer [and not their marketing intern] they wouldn't have to sell their corporate baskets here. oh wait, you get all these luxurious spa products for $24.99... nevermind, they obviously blew their budget on the website... NOT!

i also love these 2 posters that live near the Josef Hoffman chair.

i remember chairs like this one  in my grandmother's kitchen in the '70s [deep in the heart of Eastern Europe]. they probably had them since the '50s...and i'm sure that they're still around somewhere.  i will check and make sure to take a photo when i go see her in September.
